In Tristan's 1,576 word masterpiece from Gulfshore Playhouse on "Art" and "God of Carnage," there were a few nuggets of new information.
1. Halfprice tickets are available for all matine performances of "Art" and "God of Carnage" will be available onehalf hour before the show. That's a pretty sweet deal.
Especially if you happen to be in downtown Naples. then hit Fifth for a nice dinner. I've always thought audiences should see the shows more than once just to "get" everything. Hopefully, I'll have the chance.
Here are the dates you need to look for:
"Art" Sunday, Oct. 21 28
"God of Carnage" Sunday, Nov. 11 18
Oct. 28 and Nov. 11 might be particularly good dates to attend, as those performances will feature "Synergy Series" panel discussions after the show.
The "Art" panel on Oct. 28 will include Dr. Deeb Kitchen, Instructor at Florida Gulf Coast University, Department of Social Behavioral Sciences and Kathleen van Bergen, CEO President of Philharmonic Center for the Arts.
The "God of Carnage" panel on Nov. 11 will include Marianne Oehser, Relationship Coach; Dr. Deeb Kitchen; and Irene Horowitz, Director of Education at Gulfshore Playhouse.
2. And possibly even MORE interesting, was this nugget, buried in new Artistic Associate Cody Nickell's bio paragraph: "spearheading a New Works Festival currently slated for the summer of 2013."
